For the uninitiated, Indian food may seem foreign, scary, spicy and not for the faint of heart.But the Indian foods break all these barriers and and become a memory for those who have tasted it here at MAMA's KITCHEN I am going to teach you how to cook some gastronomes Indian dishes.

MADRAS EGG CURRY

MADRAS EGG CURRY

INGREDIENTS


  1. BOILED EGG - 6
  2. GHEE (60 gm)
  3. ONION ( 1 chopped)
  4. GARLIC
  5. CURRY POWDER (1 tbsp)
  6. FRESH TOMATO (250 gm)
  7. LEMON JUICE (1 tbsp)

PROCEDURE

  1. PEEL EGGS AND CUT INTO HALVES LENGHTWISE.
  2. MELT GHEE IN A PAN FRY ONION AND GARLIC UNTILL THE ONION IS TENDER. ADD CURRY POWDER AND SAUTE FOR A MINUTE.
  3. ADD TOMATOES, LEMON JUICE AND WATER ( 1/2 cup) AND BRING TO BOIL. REDUCE HEAT COVER AND SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES.
  4. ADD EGGS, COOK UNTILL HEATED THROUGH.
